ADVERTISEMENTS
Community foundations of all sizes exist to bring donors together to support the needs of their communities.
The Oregon Community Foundation is privileged to work with hundreds of donors, and many organizations that are connecting private giving to public good across the state.
One of OCF’s most important responsibilities is to be a wise steward of the charitable funds entrusted to us by organizations such as the Estacada Community Foundation. OCF has a broadly diversified investment portfolio that is structured to produce investment returns that exceed market averages, particularly in down markets. OCF is continuing its disciplined approach to investment management based on a long-time horizon and a broadly diversified portfolio.
In these uncertain times, we are also redoubling our efforts to serve our state, not only investing our endowment funds wisely, but providing much-needed grants and scholarships. We rely on more than 1,500 volunteers who give us timely advice and wise guidance on how best to respond to community needs.
This strength in numbers – donors, volunteers, and nonprofits working together – is the cornerstone of all community foundations. Together, we are improving the quality of life for Oregonians, today and for generations to come.
