Regis Ruschell was born on April 18, 1929, in Clinton, Penn. He passed away on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, under the excellent care of the ICU team at Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center in Gresham, Ore. He was 80.
Regis was the beloved husband of Mildred, father (“Pops”) to Barbara, Cecelia, Regis, Greg, Millie, Mary, Nikki and Laura; grandfather to Nicholas, Jeremy, Craig, Erik, Jessica, Natasha, Nathan, Nicole, Holly, Connor and Riley; and brother to Albert, Harold, Dorothy and Kathy.
A funeral service was held on Nov. 20, 2009, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Sandy. A committal service will follow with military honors at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Sandy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
