While discarding some old files and books at the Estacada News Office, I found a copy of the book, “Big Footnotes: A comprehensive bibliography concerning Bigfoot, the Abominable Snowman and related beings,” by Danny Perez, founder of the Center for Bigfoot Studies. Perez cites the 1972 movie “The Legend of Boggy Creek,” as the impetus for his fascination with unexplained mysteries. But the real mystery is how and why this book made its way to The Estacada News.
